A very self-indulgent abstract from last year, using mostly an amethyst mineral watercolor mixed with a more pigmented purple. The beautiful granulation comes from both paints, and the original art has a very subtle sparkle to it from the amethyst.

Only one person has guessed the completely nerdtastic reasoning behind the title, but it’s already found a new home, anyway, so I can just smile enigmatically when anyone asks. The best kind of dumb in-joke.
